“I purchased my first set of leathers from Syed in 2010 when I was interested in doing track days for the first time. However, as I was so small, purchasing stock leathers from any company was not going to work. A friend told me about Syed, and as a side trip from Daytona Bike Week we rolled over to Orlando and Mr. Syed took my measurements. However, I had an odd request. I asked if they could make my leathers unique by adding filigree instead of chevrons or stripes. Yes, I wanted something more feminine! Stefan accepted the challenge and produced an amazing set of leathers that I still use ten years later as I moved on from track days to racing on the Salt Flats. They have been scarred by asphalt surfing at Barber, high siding at Jennings, corrosive salt at Bonneville, and my continuous challenge to remain the same size I was when I was first measured. For many women in racing, properly fitting equipment is still difficult to find, and leathers are important enough to have them custom made. I am planning on ordering another set soon, and will use Syed again, and will probably ask Stefan to create another unique suit.”
